Who can enter?
Anyone! That’s one of the perks of a virtual race - everyone can take part in their own time, at their own pace. All we need is an online confirmation to show you’ve covered the distance.
Please ensure that all children are supervised.
Please note by entering the run you are agreeing that any injury or damage that is caused by completing your run is your own responsibility. Watermore will not be held responsible for any injury that occurs during your run or training.

What is the rainbow run?
A chance for all children to get involved and receive a medal! Run, scoot, cycle or walk a route of your choice! Just get out there and have fun getting active!
Historically we encourage children to run laps of a circuit whilst powder paint is thrown onto the t-shirts of the children - hence the term ‘rainbow run’.
To honor our theme, and that of the NHS during COVID-19, of ‘rainbows’ we will also put up some pictures for the children to spot along the official 10k route – please note you DO NOT have to do this route – totally optional!
Do I have to complete the distance all in one go?
No. For younger runners, or if you are building up your distances, you can split your run over a few days.
Do I need to follow the official route?
No, you can pick any route you’d like for the virtual run.
How do I send in my run evidence?
Once you’ve completed your run, please complete our online form to claim your medal(s).
If you’re completing the run as a family, you need to provide your evidence in one submission. Just be sure to include in your form the name of the person that made the booking (Lead Ticket Holder) and the name of every participant you would like to claim a medal for.
Please Note: if you purchase multiple tickets/types then you will be required to complete more than one medal claim submission and they all need to have to have the Lead Ticket Holder name attached.
If you’re running a 5k with a child (under 16), an adult’s evidence will be eligible for both.
When’s the deadline for submitting run evidence?
Please submit all evidence by Monday 5th October 2020.
Will there be a results page and fastest male, fastest female, age categories and parent prizes?
No, as runners will be running different routes on different days and at different times we have decided all runners are winners in 2020 and the competitive edge will be brought back in 2021.
When will I get my medal?
If you have confirmed that you have a child who attends Watermore Primary you will receive your medal via the school.
